Strategy
Ironhold Command
★★★★☆ 4.2
Ironhold Command is a slower strategy game, and that's a compliment. You develop a fortified settlement, balance resource flow, and defend against waves that get smarter over time. Rushing wrecks you — the game clearly favours planning your layout so defences overlap and supply lines don't choke.
The tech tree is broad, and there's real satisfaction in specialising. I leaned into a defensive economy build and watched attacks bounce off, which felt like a puzzle I'd solved rather than a fight I'd brute-forced.
Interface takes a session to click, and the early tutorial dumps a lot at once. Push through it. Once the systems open up, the mid-game is where it shines.
